Exam description

This exam tests your ability to design and develop SDN applications on the HP VAN SDN Controller.

Who should take this exam?

Most successful candidates have one
to three years of real world experience writing software application and basic networking skills and have also prepared for the exam in a variety of ways.
This certification exam is designed for candidates with “on the job” experience. The associated training courses, which usually include labs, provide a foundation, but you are expected to have experience in the real world as well.

Exam contents

This exam has 50 questions. Here are types of questions to expect:
  • Multiple choice (multiple responses)
  • Multiple choice (single response)
  • Scenarios with multiple questions

Tips for taking this exam

This exam assesses whether you have the knowledge and skills that an SDN Application Developer requires on the job. Therefore, there are multiple choice questions that present a scenario or situation, which outlines a particular environment or problem. The exam questions will be presented in two blocks, Block 3 and Block 4. Block 3 consists of a series of multiple choice and multiple response questions. Once you have reached the last question in Block 3 and click Submit, you cannot return to that block of questions. Block 4 consists of one scenario with a few multiple choice questions related to that scenario.

Take the time to read the entire question and consider all of the options carefully before you answer. If the question indicates that it features an exhibit, study the exhibit and reread the question. Make sure to select the answer that correctly responds to the question that is asked — not simply an answer that includes some correct information. If the question asks for more than one answer, remember to select each correct answer. You will not receive partial credit for a partially correct answer.
