Exam description

This exam tests your skills on deploying, configuring and troubleshooting a WorkSite 9 document management server implementation in a small to medium sized enterprise. It also tests your skills in deploying and sustaining WorkSite IDOL 8.5 indexer, server-side e-mail management, WorkSite 9 desktop clients and search tools.
This certification exam is designed for candidates with “on the job” experience. The associated training courses, which usually include labs, provide a foundation, but you are also expected to have real world experience.

Who should take this exam?

New candidates who want to acquire HP ATP - WorkSite v9 certification and have not already attended a WorkSite 9 System Engineer course with exam (this course/exam combination will be discontinued as of 1 Aug 2014).  Also any WorkSite engineers with existing course-based certifications earlier than WorkSite 8.5.

Exam contents

This exam has 60 questions. Here are types of questions to expect:
  • Multiple choice (multiple responses), scenario based
  • Multiple choice (single response), scenario based
  • Matching
  • Multiple choice (multiple responses)
  • Multiple choice (single response)

Tips for taking this exam

This exam assesses whether you have the knowledge and skills that a WorkSite Engineer requires on the job. Therefore, many test items present a scenario, which outlines a particular environment or problem. You may also need to use exhibits to complete the test items successfully.

Take the time to read the entire question and consider all of the options carefully before you answer. If the question indicates that it features an exhibit, study the exhibit and reread the question. Make sure to select the answer that correctly responds to the question that is asked — not simply an answer that includes some correct information. If the question asks for more than one answer, remember to select each correct answer. You will not receive partial credit for a partially correct answer.
