Course description

This course introduces HP Superdome 2 family of servers and provides the information necessary to identify the market for this product and understand the competitive marketplace. The course describes the standard system architecture including the fault tolerant capabilities. It covers the standard hardware configurations and solution options. It shows how the HP-UX operating system and HP Virtualization Continuum interact with the hardware, and the basics of solution configuration. It covers the complete Superdome 2 Solution Lifecycle and Total Customer Experience processes. In addition to in depth technical training on the key technologies that enable these solutions, the labs cover identifying the customer needs, sizing the solution and using HP Sales Builder for Windows (SBW) to generate a configuration component list.
This course includes content on the latest models and options for HP Superdome 2 Server Solutions, updated configuration rules and provides an update on the HP Virtualization Continuum for HP-UX.
